The nation's bridges often attract drone photographers, and Colorado's Royal Gorge Bridge is no exception. There's plenty of incredible bridge footage around that also takes in the park's gorge. The William Fredrick Hayden Park is on Green Mountain and spans across 2400 acres of unspoiled wilderness. It's Lakewood's second-largest recreational space. The 6,800ft summit is a great place for drone photographers to record aerial footage. You can expect amazing views of mountainous landscapes from the west and Denver's city skyline to the east.

Suhaka Field in Cherry Creek State Park, Eaglewood, has been here since the early 1960s. It's dedicated space for drone operators, run by the Denver R/C Eagles. Drone pilots get their own flight area to separate fixed-wing models from multi-rotor UAVs. The surrounding scenery is impressive, offering camera drone pilots some interesting footage from above.
Another welcome thing about this dedicated airfield is the friendliness of the members. There's lots of help and club support available for everyone, including beginner-level pilots.
